3 c. old-fashioned oats
6 c. water
1/2 tsp. (heaping) salt
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. dried cranberries or raisins
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbs. ground flax seed
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until desired thickness. Serves 6-8.
