Johnny Apple Juice
A few weeks ago we bought a juicer - so now we're "Juicers." Would you believe I can get my husband and all 6 kids to drink a kale/cucumber/celery/wheat grass combination every day?! Ha. Yeah right. But we have been successful at finding some great recipes that have pleased even the pickiest palate. I'll be posting our favorite kid-friendly juices, as well as some that I have enjoyed that are more grown-up. Keep in mind that these recipes make a LOT of juice. We make 6-8 cups (48-64 oz.) for 2 adults and 6 kids. When I'm just juicing for myself I prefer a 10-12 oz. serving.
Johnny Apple Juice

5 carrots
1-2 big handfuls spinach
1 lemon
Process through juicer. *Kid-friendly!
